Policies

You can register for classes in person at the store or we can fill out your registration form over the phone with you. We can also email our registration form via email and you can scan it or fax it back to us. Our fax# is (212)535-6224 and our e-mail is info@pinsandneedlesnyc.com. Your registration is not complete until we receive payment. Tuition is due in full at time of registration.

We reserve the right to cancel any class for lack of students. We require a minimum of 5 students. If a class is canceled , students will receive a full refund.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons

A credit card is required at the time of registration to secure lesson time.

Payment of all fees is due in full at the end of each lesson.

Cancellations for Privates and Semi-Private Lessons:

A minimum of 24 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.

Anything less than 24 hour notice and the full lesson fee is charged.

Cancellations for Adult Classes & Workshops:

You have up to a week before the class to cancel.

If you cancel between 7 and 2 days (48 hours) before the first class, you can transfer into that class given at a later date or you can redeem the price of the class as a store credit which will be issued as a gift card . This credit can be used in the shop for another class or materials.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the first class meets than you forfeit your class fee. We have this policy because our classes are so small and we cannot guarantee we will be able to fill your spot with another student with such short notice.

No refunds or prorated credit will be given for late arrivals and no-shows. We also do not offer any make-ups for missed classes.

Cancellation for Kids/Teen Classes & Workshops:

We require at least 5 students to run a class.

In the event you need to cancel enrollment:

– A full refund is granted if cancellation is made more than 21 days prior to the start of the class

– 50% of the class fee will be refunded if cancellation is made between 21 and 14 days prior to the start of class

– NO REFUNDS are granted for any cancellation made less than 14 days from the start of class

Kids group classes will have two general make-up classes to choose from. These will be scheduled at the end of each semester for students who have missed one or two classes. During this time, students will work on a project organized for the entire group.

No refunds or prorated credit will be given for late arrivals, and no-shows.
