a year since the GIRL’S GUIDE TO DIY FASHION launched…

Book Shot 4
I can’t believe it has been a year since the official launch of my book…Girl’s Guide to DIY Fashion: 5 Outfits to Design & Sew…how quickly time goes by and what an amazing year it has been and continues to be. It may have launched last May, but the support and excitement continued well beyond when it was first introduced.

I continue to be so incredibly grateful and really blown away by the response to the book and all the support. I feel so blessed to be doing what I do and have this one of a kind opportunity to share my passion for creativity and especially sewing and DIY with my incredible P&N community – – it is unlike anything I have ever done in my life and such a gift.

To be able to witness the organic growth of what started as a few sewing lessons I was giving to my friends kids in their apartments into a sought after and growing kids sewing program with such an enthusiastic community of New York City girls and boys has been so amazing!

So it’s fun to look back and see all the party photos and re-share about the event and book! So I hope you all will join us in our “look back” and anniversary celebration!

For the launch party we outfitted the boutique with everything Girl’s Guide To DIY Fashion – – we got really creative with the decorations – – which we LOVE to do and it was all inspired by elements of the book!
